The Great Canadian Adventure is a geography curriculum that applies the six essential elements of geographic literacy to the context of Canada. Besides mapwork, the curriculum contains a lot of science including earth sciences (rock cycles, volcanoes, clouds and weather etc), biology (photosynthesis, vertebrates, life cycles etc), physics (viscosity, density etc), chemistry (states of matter, mixtures etc) to name a few. The purpose of the curriculum is to show kids how these sciences affect the world around them. The Geography of the eastern half of Canada is combined in this set including;Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Islnd, Quebec as well as Nunavut & the Northwest Territories.
